The books I read is how I live now and the seven habits of highly effective teens. The characters that are going to meet is Elizabeth from how I live now and Shawn from the seven habits. Elizabeth was arrogantly from New York City, but her dad sent her to England to live with her cousins that she never met before. Shawn is going to be her friendly neighbored. He's also going to start a friendly conversation with her.
So its a bright sunny day in England. Elizabeth is walking back home and this kid Shawn walks up to her and starts a conversation.
Shawn, "hey hows it going?"
Elizabeth, "do I know you?"
Shawn, "oh sorry I should have introduced myself." "I'm Shawn your neighbored from across the street. I saw you walking and figured I could come and say hi"
Elizabeth, "oh well in that case good and I've been here for a while and you didn't say anything to me before?"
Shawn, "that's when you have been here for a while I figured I would talk to you."
Elizabeth, "oh anyway how are you doing?"
Shawn, good... if you don't mind me asking but wheres your family.... I mean like your parents?"
Elizabeth, "well my mom died when I was born and my dad just decided to send me here with my cousins."
Shawn, "I'm so sorry about what happened to your mom."
Elizabeth, "It's fine."
Shawn, " so how long have you been here so far?"
Elizabeth,"I would say about a month so far.
Shawn, "So then are you going back with your dad?"
Elizabeth, "Never that's why he sent me here, so I wont have to bug him anymore. Don't you get it why else would he send me here?"
Shawn, "I don't know to finally meet your cousins?"
Elizabeth, "I'm fourteen years old I think I would have met them a lot sooner then a month ago.
Shawn, "I don't get why he would want to send you away though?"
Elizabeth, "neither do I, I didn't do anything to make him do this"
Shawn, "So he's never coming back for you, your positive about that?"
Elizabeth, "Yes anyways how about you tell me something about yourself."
Shawn, "Okay well I'm a farmer I help my dad in the back of my house, I also help people with problems."
Elizabeth, "Oh that's interesting I know who to come to now if I ever have a problem."
Shawn, "Anytime ill be glade to help work things out."
Elizabeth, "So when did you really notice me"
Shawn,"I noticed you a couple times coming out of the house and you didn't look familiar, so that's when I figured I would come and talk to you sometime."
Elizabeth, "I think we should hang out sometime, all of us you, my cousins, and me."
Shawn, "I think that's a great idea, I never really got to know your cousins. I mean I've talked to them before a couple times but that's about it."
Elizabeth, "Well i have to get back I'll talk to you again soon."
Shawn, "Okay bye"
Elizabeth, "Bye Shawn!"
