Being Responsible for your actions

I picked if someone is drunk or high, she or he is not responsible for his or her actions. I do not agree with that. I say they are responsible for there actions. What they do while there drunk or high isn’t an excuse. There the ones who got drunk or high in the first place. If they knew they acted liked that or heard from people how they where they shouldn’t drink that much.
I mean I’ve seen people who got so drunk they did things that they regret because when they where sober I told them what they did. They couldn’t believe what I was saying. I’m not saying drinking is bad its just you don’t want to over do it. To the point where you cant even walk or your tripping over your own feet. Or not remembering what happened the next day and in a totally different place. But I don’t think that’s going to happen.
I was in a situation where I was hanging out with a friend, and we decided to hang with other friends at the park. They ended up getting high, and asked me if I wanted to try. Obviously I didn’t, but they where trying to convince me. They were saying nobodies going to find out, it’s really fun, come on just try it. I said no I cant and plus I knew if I did I would do something I regret, and I really don’t want that. Then I would really be mad with myself.
I hope none of us go through what Melinda has. Or if they did I hope they can talk to someone about it, and not have it bottled up inside forever. If you do then I’m just saying at least try and tell someone, maybe your close friend. At least you can get it out and feel a little bit better that someone knows. Maybe your friend can try to help.
But it all started when she went to this party with Rachel. Only if Rachel’s brother didn’t take them. That’s what Melinda probably keeps thinking in her head. So if you ever go to a party like this just make sure you know what your doing. No matter what your always responsible for your actions.

Fourth Marking Period

For this I picked passages. What makes the good is when shes talking about going to the mall on the last day of spring break. Instead of being at her house that would suck. You would want to make the most out of your last day of spring break. The important part of the passages is when She keeps waiting for the fashions to catch up with the store. Instead of buy stuff for the wrong season. Shes smart to save her money.

Third Marking Period

The response I chose is diction and the phrase I picked says. We are reading the The Scarlet Letter one sentence at a time, tearing it up and chewing on its bones. I don’t get what this is saying or trying to mean. It confuses me and I hate how I cant understand what some things like this means.

First Marking Period

I’m doing character analysis and the character I picked is Melinda. This Character is and outcast in high school. She keeps to herself and her friend Heather. They both really don’t belong. She just ignores everyone but others ignore her. Others ignore her because or something she did last year and nobody liked it so they don’t talk to her. I guess you can say they just cant forgive and forget because they probably think its going to happen again. Melinda kinda compares to Heather is that they both are outcast and don’t fit in with anyone. She wants her friends to just forgive her for what she did and move on but they keep holding it against her.

Second Marking Period

The passage called friends when shes in the bathroom with her ex friend Rachel. Its awkward but she tries to make a conversation, and Rachel hardly says anything. I mean I don't get what happened that was so bad to loose a friend. I hate how Rachel doesn't say anything back but when her friend gets out of the stall she speaks another language about Melinda. This situation reminds me of when I get into fights will my friends and we want nothing to do with each other. This connects to the life I'm living because when your somewhere, and theres a person you don't like, and you really don't say much to them. But when they leave you say to your friend oh my gosh that girl is so annoying.

Not Understanding Parents

The statement I picked was parents don’t understand the problems teenagers go through. I agree with this statement. Everytime I ask them for advice its like they don't understand me. Or if  I'm feeling down they will ask me whats wrong and I don't really want to tell them but i do. Say if I got into a fight with my friend, and they would say well you shouldn't have done that. It gets me mad because there not on my side.
Or when I broke up with my boyfriend my mom was wondering why so obviously I told her the reason, because she would have found out sooner or later why I wasn't talking about him. But after I told her she’s like oh well that's a stupid reason to break up with him. But she wasn't around him to see how he acted, and shes not me she doesn't understand. She thinks I did it because my friend told me too and it gets me so mad. If I liked him a lot I would never break up with him in the first place.
